Coaching philosophy/style - I am a process driven holistic coach. I want our team and students to focus on the process of getting better with their well being in mind at all times

Favorite coaching moment - Everyone always says their favorite moment that time one of their kids made the podium. I love when I see that look in their eyes when they finally understand and get what we have been working on together. There is nothing like it!
Favorite coaching advice - Never give up on a student that wants to keep learning and getting better. A willing student is always worth your time.

Who are you outside being an archery coach? - Outside of being a coach I am just another parent and devoted father wanting the best for his daughters.

Coaching philosophy/style - I believe in tailoring my approach to each athlete's unique needs and creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable to learn and grow. I emphasize making the learning process enjoyable, believing that laughter and enjoyment are key to long-term success.

Favorite coaching moment - My favorite moments are when I witness an athlete experience a breakthrough or achieve a goal they've been working towards. It's incredibly rewarding to see their confidence and excitement grow.
Favorite coaching advice - "Embrace the Process" I often advise athletes to focus on the journey rather than just the outcome. Enjoying the process of learning and improving is essential for long-term success.

Who are you outside being an archery coach? I love spending time with my wife and 2 daughters camping, hiking, hunting and just about anything outdoors.

Favorite coaching moment - Witnessing those moments when my students come to the realization of their own greatness. Seeing them finally recognize their potential and capabilities, just as I have always seen them, is incredibly fulfilling. It’s a profound moment of growth and self-discovery, and it reaffirms the belief I have in their abilities. Watching them shine and take pride in their achievements is what makes coaching so rewarding.

Who are you outside being an archery coach? - I have been happily married to my husband for 24 wonderful years, and together we’ve raised three incredible children. Our family has since grown to include three delightful grandchildren, two energetic grand-dogs, and three charming grand-cats. I cherish spending time with my family and friends, whether we’re enjoying live music, relaxing on the water or at the beach, or simply being together. These moments of connection and joy are at the heart of what I love most in life.
